Yas Island

Yas is a magnificent island located in Abu Dhabi. The island's development began in 2006 with the aim of creating an integrated community for leisure, shopping and entertainment. The development I am working on for Jasmine Marina, Yas Waterworld and Yas Links Golf Course has added more places and improved upgraded features that enhance the lives of residents. Jasmine has already been named the World Tourism Project in 2009 for the Grand Prix Formula One Etihad Airways Award in Abu Dhabi. Also, the development of the island as a suitable place for outdoor activities, such as sailing by auction, sunset at sunset, or easy and convenient shopping.

Island Attractions

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is an incredibly popular indoor sightseeing and entertainment complex. The park has an area of 96,000 m² and is considered the largest indoor theme park in the world. This is the first Ferrari theme park in the world, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UAE. Here you will find a huge number of fascinating attractions, modern simulators, many concerts and shows, and of course, Ferrari cars. And the main attraction of the park is the world's fastest rollercoaster reaching a speed of 240 km / h. In addition, there are two shops and several chic restaurants serving Italian cuisine.

Yas Waterworld is a popular water park located on the island. Over 40 water slides are located here, as well as the largest surf-able sheet wave surf in the world. This park has won many awards: from the World Waterpark Association in 2012, from the World Travel Awards, Los Angeles Times and CNN in 2013.

Warner bros World Abu Dhabi is the world's third theme park of a popular film studio dedicated to its iconic films and cartoons. The park is divided into several thematic zones inspired by the universes of the superheroes Batman and Superman, as well as the animated series of the studios Looney Tunes, Hannah Barber and Bedrock. Yas Beach Residence

The waterfront residential community Yas Beach Residence includes 370 units from studios to 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom apartments and duplexes. The project is located in the southwest part of Yas island.

Yas Island takes a total land area of 25 000 square kilometers. A plenty of well-known commercial projects as well as residential communities. It's one of the most visited areas of Abu Dhabi.

The island's population is estimated to be around 8,000 and it is expected to be 18,000 by 2030. The island has 2,051 plots of land and 1,746 plots for villas.

The island's development began in 2006. For now, Yas Island is estimated to be completed for 55 %, some projects are still ongoing and expected to be launched in 2020 and 2021.

The main developer of the island is Abu Dhabi based Aldar Properties, generally known development and Investment Company, owner of about 90 % of real estate in Abu Dhabi. In addition to the famous Yas Island, the company has built many other residential and commercial projects in key areas of UAE.
