Nakheel (meaning "palm tree" in Arabic) is a developer based in Dubai and is one of the world's leading real estate developers. The company was established in 2003 and during its work has made a significant contribution to the creation of the modern image of the emirate.

Since late 2020, Nakheel's CEO is Naaman Atallah, who has 25 years of experience in the real estate sector in the Middle East and India (he has held key management positions at Dubai Properties, Emaar, Qatari Diar and Piramal Realty). Previously, Ali Rashid Lootah held this position for 10 years. With 30 years of experience in the federal government, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the UAE Public Investment Company Dubai World in February 2020.
