About Project

Al Merief is a residential community located within Khalifa City A, close to the centre of the emirate. The project includes 283 land plots, which cover around 150 acres. The masterplan was created by Aldar Properties and represents a modern, upscale neighbourhood featuring all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable living.

Khalifa City is a self-sufficient neighbourhood with plenty of amenities and infrastructural facilities. Residents can choose My City Centre Masdar, Masdar Phase 2 Retail Plaza and Central Mall for premium shopping, and buy all their essentials at supermarkets such as Carrefour, Souq Planet, Etihad Plaza and Grandiose Supermarket — Masdar City. 

An array of F&B options can be found within the community and the nearby Etihad Plaza, including Starbucks, PAL Cafe, Ataba Restaurant, Jade Restaurant, Sushi House and Royal Gulf Restaurant. 

The area is ideal for families, since it houses international schools, such as GEMS American Academy, Canadian International School, Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, and Raha International School, Khalifa City Campus, which are all located no more than in 10 minutes’ by car from the complex. The nearest nurseries are Blossom Masdar, Treehouse Nursery Abu Dhabi, Odyssey Nursery — Khalifa City and Happy Jump Nursery Khalifa A.

Al Merief residents will benefit from top-notch medical centres, located less than a 10 minute drive away. These include NMC Royal Hospital, Etihad Airways Medical Center, Mediclinic Khalifa City, and Amana Healthcare Medical & Rehabilitation Hospital.

Al Merief is being developed in Khalifa City А, which is on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, and within a 30 minute drive from the center of the capital. Khalifa City A is also home to the headquarters of one of the main aviation companies within the Emirates — Etihad Airways. It will take around 10 minutes’ to get to Abu Dhabi International Airport by car from Al Merief.

Al Mereif is situated right behind Etihad Square, so both Al Shahama Rd and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Str are easily reachable.

One of the key advantages of living in Khalifa City A is its close proximity to popular destinations in and around the emirate. Al Merief residents may visit the exciting area of Yas Island, which houses Yas Mall, world-famous theme parks like Warner Bros.
