The beautiful Ghantoot area is to receive an exciting new upscale resort hotel in the form of Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat, which is scheduled to open in Q4 2023.

Designed to resemble the whitewashed buildings of the Greek island of Santorini, the ultra-private resort includes only 22 luxurious rooms. Each residence is characterized by absolute privacy and features spacious terraces overlooking the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. The interiors are designed in light colours and feature exquisite furnishings. Suites within the boutique hotel are available for exclusive use.

The resort provides incredible on-site amenities to ensure a fully-fledged vacation experience for its guests. There is a private beach, a swimming pool, and exceptional spa treatments available at the spa. Restaurants within the complex will serve regional cuisine and Greek specialties. In the evening, guests will be entertained by a DJ at the cocktail bar, and a private cinema room is available for movie nights.

Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat is an ideal destination for those who seek a secluded stay, as the Ghantoot area is renowned for its natural beauty which sits away from the bustling urban centre. At the same time, the hotel is located about the same distance from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, making it easy for residents to get to key locations within both of the emirates. Travel time to Abu Dhabi International Airport is around 40 minutes’, while Dubai International Airport is slightly less than an hour away by car.

The operator of the resort complex is Minor Hotels, and Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat is the 11th project in the Middle East by this renowned hospitality provider.
