Al Reem Island is still growing and developing and there will be a lot more facilities added to the existing number of restaurants, parks and stores.

The Island is connected well enough to the rest of Abu Dhabi through two bridges, another one is under construction, and the International Airport is only 20 minutes, so it is very easy to get in and out.

Despite the island still growing, it has already developed well. There are plenty of kindergartens, schools, hospitals and the prestigious Paris-Sorbonne University with a huge library.

Due to its geographical location the island has a subtropical arid climate with almost year round sunshine, short rainy season and comfortable winter temperatures, which can vary from a low of around 13C on a winter's night, to a high up to 50 C on a summer's day.
