Al Maqta (or Al Maqtaa) is a large residential area formerly known as Bain Al Jessrain, located in the suburbs of Abu Dhabi near one of the capital's iconic landmarks, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Al Maqta is bordered on the west by Zayed Sports City and on the south by Abu Dhabi Gate City. The area first got its name Bain Al Jessrain (Arabic for 'between the two bridges') from its location between the Mussafah Bridge and Al Maqta Bridge.

The upscale villas make up the majority of the local real estate here, but there are also a few apartment and penthouse communities. This is a cozy family-oriented area that is suitable for connoisseurs of country life. Much of the area was developed quite a long time ago, but as of Q2 2022, there is now a promenade with restaurants and stores in Al Maqta. In addition to residential properties, there are several world-class resorts and hotels such as the Hotel Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Shangri-La Hotel Apartments Qaryat Al Beri, and Qaryat Al Beri.

Al Maqta is located away from the center of Abu Dhabi, however, it can easily be reached by car or by public transport.
